The Union College Aerogel Lab is seeking a post-baccalaureate research assistant to make and characterize catalytic aerogels. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, instruments and supplies, trouble-shooting and resolving problems, keeping proper laboratory records and helping with special projects. The successful candidate will also participate in entrepreneurial training based on the NSF I-Corps program. This is a nine-month, grant-funded, benefit-eligible position that begins in September 2019 (and has the possibility of a renewal).
